Beginner Nanny
This workshop is designed for anyone interested in becoming a nanny or for those within their first five years of professional nannying who want to build a strong foundation for a successful career.
This is not an ECE (Early Childhood Education) class. Instead, we'll focus on the professional skills that help great nannies thrive, including:
• Communicating effectively and professionally with parents
• Problem-solving and handling real-life situations with confidence
• What it's really like to work in someone else's home
• Professionalism, respect, and setting healthy boundaries
• Building trust with families
• Remembering that while you are a professional caregiver, you are a person too—your well-being, confidence, and work-life balance matter.
Whether you're just starting your nanny journey or looking to strengthen your professional skills, this workshop will provide practical tools, real-life insights, and the confidence to succeed in the nanny profession.
Resume help
Your resume is often the first impression a family has of you—let's make it count.
This workshop is designed for aspiring and experienced nannies who want to create a professional, polished resume that highlights their skills, experience, and personality in a way that stands out to families and agencies.
During this class, we'll cover:
How to structure a nanny resume that gets noticed
What families are actually looking for
How to highlight your childcare experience, even if you're just getting started
Writing strong job descriptions and accomplishments
Showcasing certifications, education, and special skills
Common resume mistakes that can cost you interviews
Tips for tailoring your resume to different nanny positions
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with the knowledge and tools to build a resume that reflects your strengths and helps you confidently apply for nanny positions.Open to any Nanny- you do not have to be in the agency’s network to attend
CPR & First aid
Be prepared when every second counts.
Whether you're a nanny, parent, grandparent, babysitter, or anyone who cares for children, this class provides the knowledge and confidence to respond to emergencies quickly and effectively. It is also a great option for caregivers who need to renew or recertify their CPR and First Aid certification.
This hands-on class covers essential life-saving skills, including:
Adult, child, and infant CPR
AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use
Choking response for infants, children, and adults
Basic first aid for common injuries and emergencies
How to recognize and respond to medical emergencies with confidence
Whether you're earning your certification for the first time or keeping your credentials current, this class is designed to help you feel prepared and empowered to act when it matters most.
Certification will be provided by our certified training partner upon successful completion of the course.

This class is open to anyone interested! Whether you are a parent or nanny, all are welcome!
